yea, i went to church again. i suppose this sem ill have alot of time for God, which is goOd. ^-^

we started out with worshipping, of course. today we sang a few songs, and my favs are How Great is Our God and All This Earth will Sing Your Praises. i love the musics, esp the drum beats for this song.

As usual, the sanctuary was always full. Dr Koh's son flew from America to preach today's sermont.

the sermont is about When God Says NO in our lives. what should we do... n etc...
at times we tend to project our wants and ideas to God and usually will hope for Him to grant our prayers. But what we want for ourselves are not exactly what God wants for us in reality.

Normally, when everything we prayed for are not happening, we tend to lose faith. well, i agree with that statement. We may fall over and over again and feel that the walls are crumbling down. So we pray and pray but to no avail. Nothing seems to improve. Things just worsen. *sigh*sigh*

It's all about endurance and how God wants to mould us into a better person, individually. When He says No to what we are praying for, it means there is a greater Yes in store for us. There is a margin of time we have to wait for the right time to cross over. Hence, we might be able to see more possibilities in Him.

By the way, guess who i met in church today? sorry, the pic taken was not clear. very blur, i know. It's Datuk Dr Chua Jui Meng. the one in light blue. Didnt expect to see him. haha. and i know, my photography skills sucks. hehe. i couldnt possibly ask him to wait cos i wanna snap a pic of him, could i ?

everyone was praying at the end of the sermont....

later in the evening, i found out that my tyres are out of air. as a matter of fact, i never pump air for my tyres before le... aha. lousy me. however, i met a goOd Samaritan today. hehe. my roomate companied me to the Shell station. there was only one air pump machine and my car was the 3rd in the queueing line. the 1st car belongs to a malay gal. i tried to observe her way of pumping the air...and almost wanted to go over to ask for her help, but i decided not to. she doesnt seem to show much confidence in using the tools.
so, i turned my luck to the 2nd car instead. it was a malay guy. it is a fact that guys are surely more pro in this stuff. i hesitated at first... but when i saw him wearing a Tshirt with the UKM logo, i jumped out of my car n walked towards him asking for help. he is a very nice man. really thank God for sending someone to help me. am grateful.

then, when i came back, i caught myself thinking... i have been a driver for nearly 4 years now, and i never handled this situation before. it somehow seem to be good staying far away from home. i get to learn new things ! =D sounds very sam pat huh ? hehe.
