u knw, yst, just right after i got out from the railway station, i didnt go home straight. hehe. i went for dinner at the telaga air stall instead. yummy !
i finished a bowl of the famous 'Ang Moh Cngeh' Curry Mee and also some Koay Teow soup left by my lil bro. haha. gosh ! how delicious! Penang's food can never beat any of the KL food. KL food is meant for the fast and furious, one of my kl frens told me before. haha. it really is.

then today, my mum cooked "chai boay". so so sooo nice! i feel so blessed ! haha.
im really gonna gain alot of weight this holiday.

anyway, i guess i've been keeping this post for quite some time now. i wanted to write a comment on it a month ago. but im not sure how i should start it.

well, meet The Rhymeweaver !
i got to know him through Syafa's blog. i guess some of u guys might have noticed him in her chatbox. he got my attention cos i kinda have some likings for english literature, especially in the classic styles of literature. william shakespeares. i love the poem we learnt back then, Sonnet 18. and also another Sonnet 148, which was being quoted in the movie the Prince and Me. i find it abit romantic. haha. aiya.

i might be crapping a little in this post, cos i dont know much about it. but, anyway, i think this guy Rhymeweaver is kinda unique in some ways (especially he's a Malaysian), in his owns ways of producing songs related to classic literatures. so, the lyrics below is one of his songs from the album.

well, there are more. if anyone of u who might be interested to listen to them, u can just click on the link Rhymeweaver in my blog. =)
or just go here :: http://www.rhymeweaver.blogspot.com/

i've never really bothered to find the true meaning of Hip-Hop nor R&B. dont really know wat the differences are between this two types of musics. so, haha, i decided to google for it.
i knw im so damn outdated already. hehe. but, a fren of mine alwys told me, it's never too late to learn. ; )

Hip hop music, also referred to as rap music, is a music genre typically consisting of a rhythmic vocal style called rap which is accompanied with backing beats. Hip hop music is part of hip hop culture, which began in the Bronx, in New York City in the 1970s, predominantly among African Americans and Latino Americans.

Artist: The Rhymeweaver
Song: Ambitions as a Rider
Album: The Mixtape Series Vol. 1: Music From and Inspired by Classic Literature
Based on the stage play The Tragedy of Macbeth by William Shakespeare

[Verse 1]
I was once a noble, riding on a stallion
Fought in wars and battles and showered with medallions
Had a lovely palace and wife and servants and friends
But the greed for power had me cursed to the end
I was told that I would be king and sit on the throne
Never knew the evil mind of those dirty old crones
But the prospect of king, it chilled me to the bone
Wonder how the crown felt at the top of my dome
So I told this to my wife who I think was lovely
But it's only physical coz now her mind turned ugly
And she drew up a plan to kill the king in his sleep
Told me I should be the one to have the knife in my grip
I was scared to do it but she forced my hand though
So I went to his bed and stuck the blade in the man, yo
The blood was rushing out in a fountain of red
I would still remember it in a mountain of dread

[Chorus]
Ambitions as a rider, desire and greed
Wonder why you want things that you don't really need
Ambitions as a rider for power and wealth
It wont help when you lie under the shadow of death (repeat 2x)

[Verse 2]
Now I'm king of the land, just like I pictured my life
Money and power and fame, also my bitches and wife
And I'm beginning to think maybe the witches were right
But when I think of the murder I'm still cringing in fright
And I thought I saw the envy in my best friend's eyes
He heard the prophecy too and he was less enticed
I was pressed for time unless he kills me later
So I hired my thugs to slit his throat with a razor
Meanwhile back at the castle, I was having a feast
For the nobles and kings up from the west to the east
The killers returned, told me that my friend was deceased
I'm real glad to hear that coz I can now have some peace
Out the corner of my eyes, saw the ghost of my friend
I freaked out and shouted, almost exposing my plan
My wife, she noticed and hustled all the guests from the room
I told her that I've gone too far, this a blessing and doom (c/o)

[Verse 3]
Went to see the witches again to get an omen
Coz everything that happening is not what im hoping
I was told to beware a certain noble from Fife
And there's none of woman born that can threaten my life
Plus my day of defeat is when the forest have feet
Now tell me, do you believe that I can never be beat?
Heard my enemy's gone to raise an army with guns
So I sent my assassin to slay his spouse and his son
But my own wife is sick coz she's been walking in her sleep
Tried to wash her bloody hands, while she's talking 'bout her guilt
The last thing that I heard, she was calling for her sin
When my castle was stormed and I was calling for a win
Face to face with my foe, fighting with his army
I told him none of woman born that could ever harm me
He told me I was a fool coz he was born Caesarean
The last thing that I felt, his sword was in my area...

i thk that's all i can write. i wish him all the best ! =D
