Sunday, July 13

yea, i went to church again. i suppose this sem ill have alot of time for God, which is goOd. ^-^

we started out with worshipping, of course. today we sang a few songs, and my favs are How Great is Our God and All This Earth will Sing Your Praises. i love the musics, esp the drum beats for this song.

As usual, the sanctuary was always full. Dr Koh's son flew from America to preach today's sermont.

the sermont is about When God Says NO in our lives. what should we do... n etc...
at times we tend to project our wants and ideas to God and usually will hope for Him to grant our prayers. But what we want for ourselves are not exactly what God wants for us in reality.

Normally, when everything we prayed for are not happening, we tend to lose faith. well, i agree with that statement. We may fall over and over again and feel that the walls are crumbling down. So we pray and pray but to no avail. Nothing seems to improve. Things just worsen. *sigh*sigh*

It's all about endurance and how God wants to mould us into a better person, individually. When He says No to what we are praying for, it means there is a greater Yes in store for us. There is a margin of time we have to wait for the right time to cross over. Hence, we might be able to see more possibilities in Him.

By the way, guess who i met in church today? sorry, the pic taken was not clear. very blur, i know. It's Datuk Dr Chua Jui Meng. the one in light blue. Didnt expect to see him. haha. and i know, my photography skills sucks. hehe. i couldnt possibly ask him to wait cos i wanna snap a pic of him, could i ?

everyone was praying at the end of the sermont....

later in the evening, i found out that my tyres are out of air. as a matter of fact, i never pump air for my tyres before le... aha. lousy me. however, i met a goOd Samaritan today. hehe. my roomate companied me to the Shell station. there was only one air pump machine and my car was the 3rd in the queueing line. the 1st car belongs to a malay gal. i tried to observe her way of pumping the air...and almost wanted to go over to ask for her help, but i decided not to. she doesnt seem to show much confidence in using the tools.
so, i turned my luck to the 2nd car instead. it was a malay guy. it is a fact that guys are surely more pro in this stuff. i hesitated at first... but when i saw him wearing a Tshirt with the UKM logo, i jumped out of my car n walked towards him asking for help. he is a very nice man. really thank God for sending someone to help me. am grateful.

then, when i came back, i caught myself thinking... i have been a driver for nearly 4 years now, and i never handled this situation before. it somehow seem to be good staying far away from home. i get to learn new things ! =D sounds very sam pat huh ? hehe.

Wednesday, July 9

they built this.... sorry, dont know what it's called. a small bridge? it's actually meant for the disabled people to use. but guess im qualified to use it as well. =D
my head nearly touch the ceiling. i thk the diff is only 2 cms. hehe.

my coursemate is taller than me about 20 cm i thk... and she takes the stairs while i take the little bridge whenever we pass by this place. aha... hmm... now im beginning to feel that it's not bad being small. there are many extraordinary stuff that not everyone can do, but only small people. ahaha....

by the way, it's at night. yea, obviously u can see it. now im having night class from 8-11 pm on every wed. cause the lecturer is from upm. aih... good la. especially when im always free at night nowadays and my roomate is not around almost every night. somethin to kill my time.

i know this is a stupid post. but it's funny to me in a way. ^-^

Tuesday, July 1

time really flies. last 2 yrs, i was a junior. then, during my 2nd yr, i had to help out in the registration of the new batch juniors. and now, everything's over.

this is a picture of us n our uni Naib Canselor. she's a real cool lady. very elegant looking.

the one in white is my hostel's yang di pertua (president)

our hostel Hari Raya open house in our principal's house. and the guy sitting beside me is the 'pain in the ass guy'. i always mentioned bout him to Chrissie. now, u get to see the real face. haha. well, i started giving him that nickname after marcus said he's such a pain in the ass. aha. actually, he can be quite a gentleman at times.

n this pic was taken while waiting for our uni bus. that's the day i met Pak Lah. hell, it was a funny but great experience. i still remember how i had to squeeze in between so many people to get a hand shake from him. haha. imagine that, with my tiny size among the crowd.~

my hostel's principal's daughter. a very sporting fren.

hehe. yea, she was sitting on me! that day was our retirement day. u just cant imagine how happy i was to finally close my jaksa book. and to pass it on to a new person. yeah!~ =D no more pening pening days.
last, but not least, i just wanna show Chrissie the blouse i told u about. haha. i like the buttons so much. sounds crazy, i know. by the way, that's the golf club in my uni. didnt manage to take the whole area as i don hav a cam with me.

i found this song. awesome. =)

last week i told chrissie that i want to give up blogging. i still prefer writing diaries in book than computer. i ve started writing ever since i read the diary of Anne Frank. she's a very brave girl. but not me.

however, i suddenly have the urge to blog today. maybe cos it's raining. the weather is good. i love rainy days, though it's a bit inconvenient to do certain activities. chean yen is different. she told me that she loves sunny days back in f4 n f5.

as usual, ( it has become like something common in my life lately. haha) had fever last sat. im ruining every weekends plans we have. im such a goOd girl. hehe. then yst, went to see Dr Santokh Singh. He advised me to go for tonsillectomy, which means i should consider removing my tonsils on next mon, admit for 5 days, and only having bread n porridge for the following 3 months. hmm, at the meantime, he only prescribes me antibiotics. holidays only about a week left. the other docs are really stupid. haha! if i knew earlier, then it wouldnt be so difficult to decide now.

oh yah, yong ying came n meet me up in the clinic. haha. wat a funny place to meet up with a fren. she is a very nice fren. some frens, though u might hav known him or her for so many yrs, they are still ... so yucks. =P

im considering cooking in my hostel room. curi curi senyap senyap cook. hehe. but it's harder without a fridge. anyway, will see how.

Tuesday, June 17

today, whole day, i ve been sitting at the couch, dreaming n pondering on how miserable life can be. aih. why la so miserable. so sien.

i've been looking forward to have some fun when the holiday starts. but on n off problems just cant stop coming. hate it so much. at this point, i wonder what's the purpose of life. when there is sadness, there is happiness too. well, it seems to me that sadness conquer more than happiness does.

in may, have been sick twice. first week of holiday only sick ady. then, was actually planning to hav a great time in kl, but sick again. apa la. there goes my first-month holiday.

beginning of june, even with my lil bro having holiday, still got one major problem occured. im starting to dislike holidays. ish. after all the stupid n unwanted problems, when im finally well enough to enjoy a weekend out, mana tau down with rashes all over body. thanks to my neighbour who gave my mum ' man tau' buns. aih. she used some pumpkins as one of the ingredients and bum~! just perfect, im allergic to pumpkins. i never knew that till the past 3 days. for the first time, so damn itchy man. again, i hav to spend my weekends at home. aih.

sadly, i had to turn down every outings with frens. 2 months holiday just fly by like that.
when it comes to situations like this, it always make me question, why does god allow so much suffering in a person's life?

(picked from the daily bread , june 5)

Learn from ur failures, or u will fail to learn.

The high school commencement speaker was the president of a large corporation. he was chosen for the occasion because of his success, yet his speech came with the most unusual wish for the graduates.od.

the speaker told the students sitting before him, with their graduation gowns, if i could have one hope for u as u go out into the world, it would be this : "i hope u fail. i hope that u fail at something that is important to u". he went on to say how his own early life has been one failure after another until he learnt to see failure as an effective teacher.

Many of the songs of Israel was born in the seasons of failure. out of desperation came the cry, "as the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for u, O god. My soul thirsts for god.

sometimes we are not ready to see the wonder of god's wisdom n strength until we are gasping for breath in the exhaustion of our own strength.

A recurring story of the bible is that mountains of faith rise from the valleys of failure. before discovering the high ground we are looking for, we may need to see the failure of the dreams we hold in our hearts and trust instead in the love, wisdom and guidance of our God. - mart de haan.

this is a picture of the space area between the ceiling and the roof. and there is a small part of the ceiling where we can open it and climb up

i used to thk it was the cats or rats that made all the noises at night on my room's ceiling. we never bothered to check out what it really is till yesterday...cause there was a break-in at one of our neighbour's house last week. so we decided to turn on the cameras.

weird la... looks like cats but not cats... and i ve never seen squirrels with such long tails...

they even came in a pair...

how loving... haha.

guess they are searching for food at night.

from a closer look...

that's the area where we can open our ceiling from our upstairs living room. in another words, smart creatures la...

tao, auto city

my first time at Tao's, auto city. =) finally get to try it once.
went with my whole family. 4 of us. really expensive lo. the service is very efficient, but a little irritating cos we cant enjoy our food in peace.

my lil bro, fOrever cute but still the naughtiest~

some pics i randomly took with my mom's hp. not very clear though. haiyah.

i must say, the designs n architectural of the place are very nice. surely spent a really huge sum of modal just to build the restaurant. but the food that they served are just so so little. haha.
