finally i went for the cell meeting. wanted to go last week but already gave my word to company my lil bro for spidey movie after his exam. we shared the word of God under chapter Luke 23.
there's one message i learnt from it.
we have to stick to what we believe and not be shaken by influences or power or cowardness.
there are many hassles in this world we live in. therefore we should always stand firm on our feet n not be easily shaken. n whatever we face in our daily lives, we should always turn to god for his guidance. do things in his will and not just because for the sake of pleasing ourselves.
from my previous exam, the one which just ended, i realised one significant thing i'd ignored. i should always pray for everything, including little little things too. i had few major papers to sit for. my 2 major papers which im not so worried of were not so well done. but the one particular paper which had gotten me worried for several months actually turned out to be better than the other 2 papers. it was because i prayed so hard for it. i even asked all my frens to pray for me. n one of them told me to just trust the lord n he will guide me. before i started revising i prayed first. i guess that's what matters the most. i managed to glance through one small topic before i entered the exam hall n guess wat? yea, a question was picked from that topic. hehe.
i forgot to mention bout my roomate, who had a badly sprained ankle. she had seek treatments from almost 3 doctors, but her ankle had not recovered. then one night, the night before she was going for another treatment from a different doctor, she asked me to pray for her. haha. n i did. then the next day, when she came back, her swollen ankle has healed. i was a big change. n she did admit that she felt a little surprised that after she asked for the prayer, her leg has recovered much. well, i hope god will touch her more in her future undertakings. =)

i was reading through the newspaper. n then i stopped to take a look at the star jobs section. i looked through many jobs n i found that mostly require a qualification in business. now i began to realise i have some interests in business. but i enjoy fully in designs, though i never get the chance to pursue any courses in design...
looking at those ads made me shiver. where will i be in 5 years' time ? will i be jobless or ...what will i be doing ? becoming jobless is quite impossible cause there are many kinds of jobs out there which are vacant. but the problem is the salary wise. i always reminded myself not to worry so much. every big leap begins with a small step. we began to walk before we could run and dance.
i ve noticed many people who never owned a cert or even the graduates themselves made their living without using the certs they have. n they earn more money than the office workers who are also with the same certs. my uncle once told me he was still enjoying fishing when the next day was his first stpm paper. haha. n he never got into uni either. now he has a merz n is staying in a bungalow. he made 1 million salary a year.
my mom's fren who is a canteen food stall owner earns more than the teachers in my former school.
the money n the prospect. that s the only differences. which is more important le ?aih...sometimes it is kinda scary to think of the future. what will our future be like...hmm...

today (21st may ) we had a gathering in seoul garden.
the gathering group consists of me, siewping, cynthia, yeechen, chean yen, bee chin, clara, jacqueline, su wei n thien sing.
i picked cynthia up. we reached there together so we ended up sitting together too. haha. we laughed n laughed the whole time there. it was crazy. she's really good in laughing. i mean her style. yeechen couldnt stop 'cooking' ...i mean frying the meat, fishballs n other food.im really impressed with cynthia la.....she has so many topics to talk bout. each n everyone of her uni frens has a unique n peculiar character. she can be a real good story teller. even if the story is not funny, she will make it sound real funny. hehe.
when we were walking into the restaurant, she told me about a show. the actress dont know what a station is called in english so she made sound effects of a train. n cyn made the sound effects as well when she told me. it was very funny. she laughed real loud that some of the workers around turned to stare at us. haha. though it was a lil embarrassing, it was something to enjoy too. hehe.
i gotta say, i had a really great day today.we took lots of pics together. there was this waitress who told me that i don look like one of them (she knows all of us are uni students) aha. n later when she helped us to snap pics, she even told me i looked so cute a few times. " is she a les ar? " hehe. juz kidding.
well, everyone changed alot. n i noticed that still look the same n behave the same way. nothing changed in me, except for fatter! haha. but i got much healthier compared to the time when i was much thinner n my hair keeps dropping. geeZ...
beechin finally got her braces. im sure she will look even prettier when she gets her teeth nicely done. eheh. siewping has a new hairstyle. really cute. n i also noticed that most of them put makeups on. the only make up i applied was lip gloss...it's not even a lipstick. aha. really outdated n still look like a lower secondary girl. hmm... should i change my look or just stick to the old cute n cudly evey? ahah...
so many years have passed, but im still with my pinned hair n shoulder length hair. never even put on a spaghetti shirt when hanging out with frens. still conservative ?
but basically, everyone still look the same ( without makeups) =)
